Sacerdos Vigilia - The Art of the Meta4

Doesn’t that just sound like Sacerdos Vigilia – keeping us waiting for years, and then spewing out two full length albums in a matter of months. Yes, his Traumatic release “Lurid Lullabies” still spins on heavy rotation here, but let’s not complain, but embrace that unique style SV is known for, and his special treats:
Of course there is humor, as best epitomized in the project pronunciation contest used as the introduction; distortion alright, carried to its extreme in “Lucy in the Sky with Distortion” (don’t get the reference – return to Go); and most surely a rush of energetic, charged industrial tracks, with the build-up taking this album to faster, more “core” areas than its predecessor went.
Let’s not forget the guest list: A remix each for Strange Arrival, Ophidian and Stormtrooper plus an actual collab with Ophidian - that’s quite a crew and they contribute to the diversity of this release just perfectly.
Before you rush to buy this banger of an album, be aware though that it does indeed contain some negativity, fuelled by the despicable guy Kyle – and you guessed it, he’s Gerald’s brother-in-law. Filthy lot!
